AF-KL Cargo has chosen for compensation projects with a Gold Standard certificate. GS projects are the premium projects in the carbon market and are audited by external parties to ensure quality. All GS projects are about renewable energy and energy efficiency, such as windmills, hydropower and solar energy.
The complete amount of compensation received by AF-KL Cargo goes directly to a newly developed GS project. This project only exists thanks to our corporate investment. € 1,- compensated is € 1,- directly invested through AF-KL Cargo’s own compensation service. All overhead costs are covered by AF-KL Cargo.
